On December 9th, the SIDS Coalition for Nature launched the “SIDS Nature-Climate Action Roadmap” at COP28. 🌟 Big Announcement! 🌟 At the "World Leaders Event for Nature and People" during NYC High-Level Week, the Prime Minister of Belize 🇧🇿, representing the SIDS Coalition for Nature, announced the SIDS Ecosystem Restoration Flagship. This groundbreaking initiative will be putting marine ecosystems at the heart of economic decision-making and will promote the sustainable use of 114,900 hectares in coastal areas of Comoros 🇰🇲, St. Lucia🇱🇨, and Vanuatu 🇻🇺 -co-leading the initiative thanks to funding from the German and Danish governments under the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and its Multi-Partners Trust Fund.
